A Name Rooted in Care and Connection
The name Altramas is derived from the Gaelic word for fosterage, a concept deeply rooted in traditions of care, guidance, and nurturing relationships. In ancient Gaelic culture, fosterage was more than just the act of raising a child. It symbolised a profound commitment to nurturing growth, sharing wisdom, and building strong, supportive connections that extended beyond immediate families to the wider community.
This ethos of care and connection is at the heart of what I do. My work in Clinical supervision and Therapeutic Social Care Consultancy reflects these values, offering a space where individuals and organisations can grow, thrive, and navigate challenges with confidence.
Marie Divilly
Clinical Supervisor & Therapeutic Social Care Professional
Marie Divilly is an experienced Clinical Supervisor and accomplished Social Care professional, with almost 25 years of extensive experience working with children and young people across various residential care settings, as well as in community-based social care roles for many years. She provides Clinical Supervision services across the South-East region and online nationally, ensuring accessibility and flexibility to meet diverse professional needs. Marie is currently finalising her Master's degree in Clinical Supervision in Professional Practice, She holds a Master's degree in Therapeutic Child Care, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Social Studies. Marie has also completed a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Supervision and holds QQI certifications in Leadership, Change Management, Counselling, and Supervision Skills. Marie is a member of Social Care Ireland and is registered with CORU, demonstrating her commitment to professional standards and best practices in social care.
